The Ugly Ducklings

Barwon Heads is being dubbed 'Hollywood by the sea' after attracting yet another film crew to shoot location scenes. Outdoor location segments were being shot at the Sheepwash over two days last month for the new family drama series Train Town which will be screened on Channel 31 and Optus Vision later this year.

Young actors from the Geelong based Screen Actors Studio arrived at the Sheepwash last month to take part in night scenes for an episode 'The Ugly Ducklings' being directed by Craig McMahon. After appearing in Neighbours, Craig went to Los Angeles to study acting and film direction before returning to Australia to teach and has devoted the past two years tutoring disabled actors
