Don Patrick
Specializing in PhotoArt,
Photography and Digital Imaging

Don has always taken an active interest in artistic pursuits, taking up oil painting as a hobby in 1987. He has studied technique with such well know artists as Max Dimmack, Wallace Robertson and Robyn Kittelty-Redman and has since become quite proficient and successful in this field.

In 1999 Don put away his oils in favour of his digital camera and computer and has been able to use his acquired artistic talents to turn many of his award winning photographs into works of art.

PhotoArt is created on a computer and usually commences with a specially selected photograph, which is then enhanced, adjusted and artistically improved using such software as Photoshop and Painter.

Image subjects are varied with many depicting aspects of Barwon Heads, there is also a “Market” series and yet others illustrating different locations throughout Australia.

With his keen eye for shape, form and balance, Don has produced many exceptional images and a selection of them may be viewed on his web page.

All the images are produced as limited, numbered editions with an absolute maximum of twenty high quality prints being made of each work.

Professional quality inks and paper are used to produce the PhotoArt prints,
which are available in A3 (420mm x 297mm)  either framed or unframed.
